Pochet creates the bottle for the genie. Founded in 1623, the company makes and distributes luxury glass perfume bottles and containers for cosmetics and perfume manufacturers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, and Kenzo. (It has made as many as 10 million bottles in a year for popular perfume CK One.) Bottles account for more than half of sales. Half of Pochet's sales are from exporting. Pochet also makes plastic packaging items for the perfume and cosmetics industries and owns the Lalique Group, a retailer of crystal, porcelain, jewelry, perfume, and fine leather goods, but is considering selling it. Lalique operates about 70 stores worldwide. The Colonna family owns Pochet.
