Its line of food ingredients includes antioxidants, emulsifiers, enzymes, and fat replacers, which it sells to customers in the bakery, dairy product, meat, beverage, confectionery, and snack-food sectors. The company's other products include sweeteners -- the company is a leader in the production of xylitol, a sweetener used in toothpaste and sugar-free chewing gum. It also makes industrial bioproducts, including cellulosic bioethnol.
