He huffs and he puffs, but the Big Bad Wolf can't blow the house down --at least, not when it's made with Wienerberger bricks and tiles. The building materials company is the world's largest brick producer and the #2 clay roof tile maker in Europe. Its subsidiary companies operate more than 260 plants in some 25 countries throughout Europe and the US and turn clay into wall, roof, and paving products used in residential construction. Its brands include Terca (facing bricks and pavers), Koramic (clay roof tiles), and Porotherm (solid bricks and brick ceilings). Its General Shale Brick subsidiary serves the Southeast and Midwest US. Wienerberger acquired UK-based Baggeridge Brick for some £90 million in 2007.
