DSG International (formerly Dixons Group) loves to pump up the volume. The UK's largest electronics retailer operates 1,300-plus stores in about 15 countries throughout Europe. About 60% of sales comes from the UK and Ireland. The company also sells appliances and electronics in about 500 Currys superstores. DSG's 2006 acquisition of a majority stake in Fotovista, the owner of e-tailer Pixmania, extended the company's e-commerce operations throughout Europe. The company also sells computers at some 150 PC World and 50 PC City stores. Non-UK operations include Elkjøp, Electro World, Kotsovolos, and UniEuro.
