Its holdings have included Direct Holdings Worldwide (parent of direct marketer Time Life) and publishing companies The Reader's Digest Association (RDA) and RD School & Educational Services (formerly WRC Media, it's now a subsidiary of RDA). CEO Tim Collins founded Ripplewood in 1995.
