Subsidiaries include IIJ Technology (corporate networks), Net Care (support services), IIJ Financial Systems (security systems), and others. IIJ America serves US arms of Japanese corporations. Founded in 1992, IIJ operates one of Japan's primary Internet backbone networks, as well as a major Internet backbone connection between Japan and the US.
