InterDent is looking to fill the gap in dental practice management. The company provides practice management services to more than 120 dental offices in eight states throughout the country (nearly half are in California). Its clients include general dentists and specialists offering periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. InterDent clients receive administrative, financial, and operations support and management as well as information systems and the benefits of economies of scale. The company was created by the 1999 merger of Gentle Dental Service and Dental Care Alliance, Inc.
