London might have its cool, foggy days, but the England of C.R. England is always chilly. Truckload freight carrier C.R. England hauls refrigerated and dry cargo throughout the US. The company also serves parts of Canada and, through alliances, parts of Mexico. C.R. England's fleet includes some 3,500 tractors and about 5,600 trailers. Besides for-hire freight hauling, C.R. England offers dedicated contract carriage, in which drivers and equipment are assigned to a customer long-term; logistics services, including freight brokerage; and intermodal railroad service. C.R. England was founded in 1920 by Chester Rodney England and is run by his descendants.
