Even though Lakes Entertainment doesn't own a casino, it still keeps its eye on the slots. The company develops and manages Indian-owned casino properties, including the Cimarron Casino (Perkins, Oklahoma) for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma; the Four Winds Casino Resort (New Buffalo Township, Michigan) for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians; and the Red Hawk Casino for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians (El Dorado County, California). Lakes Entertainment also has agreements with tribes for casino development projects in Michigan, California, and Oklahoma, and is developing new casino table games to market and license to casinos. Chairman and CEO Lyle Berman owns about 20% of Lakes Entertainment.
