Members needn't be good to join the Good Sam Club (formerly Affinity Group). One of several membership clubs operated by Good Sam Enterprises (GSE), the Good Sam Club and President's Club cater to the RV community offering goods and services to some 1.3 million members. GSE is also a direct marketer, specialty retailer, and publisher for RVers and outdoor enthusiasts. Its retail business, Camping World, operates 80-plus stores (plus a catalog and website) in more than 30 states that sell aftermarket RV parts and accessories and offer repair and maintenance services. GSE also publishes magazines and travel guides. Founded in 1966, members originally promised to help fellow travelers on the road.
