Canfor has a can-do attitude about forest products. One of Canada's largest lumber companies, Canfor products include lumber, pulp, and plywood, which it produces through some 31 facilities in Canada and the US. Each year Canfor is capable of turning out 5 billion board feet of lumber, 270 million sq. ft of plywood, and 1 billion sq. ft. of oriented strand board. It manages woodlands on public lands in British Columbia and Alberta and has annual harvesting rights on about 11 million cubic meters of timberland. The company also owns about 50% of Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership, which handles its pulp operations. Canfor sells its products throughout North American and internationally in Japan, China, and Europe.
