Canfor has a can-do attitude about forest products. One of Canada's largest lumber companies, Canfor products include lumber, pulp, newsprint, and plywood, which it produces through some 20 sawmills, three pulp mills, and various lumber manufacturing plants in Canada and the US. Canfor turns out 5 billion board feet of lumber, 440 million sq. ft. of plywood, and 1 billion sq. ft. of oriented strand board yearly. It manages woodlands on public lands in British Columbia and Alberta and has annual harvesting rights on about 11 million cubic meters of timberland in three provinces. The company owns about 50% of Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership, which handles its pulp operations.
