Oxford Properties won't provide you with a high-quality education, but it may offer you a lease on a nice office in Canada or beyond. The company owns stakes in more than 47 million sq. ft. of commercial and industrial space with a portfolio worth some $16 billion. It also owns about a half-dozen Canadian Fairmont luxury hotels as well as residential complexes containing more than 3,600 apartment units. A majority of its properties are in Canada (80%), but the company is working to have 50% of its assets outside of the country. Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) owns Oxford Properties, which was founded in 1960.
