Cascades keeps the paper flowing. The company's packaging products sector includes boxboard, containerboard, and specialty products operations. Specialty products range from vinyl floor backing to molded pulp forms. Cascades also makes fine papers and tissue used in retail, commercial, and institutional markets. It has 100-plus production facilities, primarily in North America and Europe. The company recycles millions of tons of paper and board annually, supplying two-thirds of its raw materials. Operations include corrugated products maker Norampac and tissue and napkin producer Cascades Tissue Group. Cascades owns about one-third of Boralex, a private producer of thermal and hydroelectric power.
