GE Consumer & Industrial (GECI) is comfortable at home and in the factory. It was created by GE by combining GE Consumer Products and GE Industrial Systems. GECI's appliance division makes home appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ovens) under such brands as Hotpoint, Monogram, and Profile; it also provides repair service. The lighting division makes some 6,000 lighting (automotive, fluorescent, halogen) products for residential and commercial markets. The electrical distribution division distributes integrated electrical equipment (circuit breakers, electric motors, generators, control systems) for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility markets.
