Guoman Hotels Limited opens the door to luxury in London. (Guoman means "international gateway" in Mandarin.) Guoman Hotels is a collection of five deluxe hotels located in central London. Properties include The Grosvenor Hotel (located within walking distance to Buckingham Palace) and Charing Cross (minutes away from Trafalgar Square and the West End). The firm also has a property in China, The Guoman Hotel Shanghai. Affiliated company Guoman Hotel Management operates more than 35 hotel properties across the UK under the Guoman and Thistle brands. Guoman Hotels is owned by GuocoLeisure Limited, the hospitality and leisure-related assets of Malaysian tycoon Quek Leng Chan's investment group, Hong Leong Group.
