This company has become a lot less flirtatious but it is trying to woo a new line of business. Formerly Flirty Girl International, Playstar owned the franchising and worldwide infomercial rights for a striptease aerobics and pole-dancing instruction tape produced by Canada's Flirty Girl Fitness. In 2006 the company sold the fitness tape business and changed its name Playstar and acquired Premier Mobile Technologies, a provider of text messaging services. A year later it acquired Function, a developer of text messaging and online games. Since 2004 the company has been involved in such ventures as online financial services and Internet casino gambling.
