Security First specializes in data security software. The company's SecureParser product works by encrypting data, splitting (or parsing) it into a number of shares set by the user, then encrypting the data again and storing it in multiple locations on a network. SecureParser works on a variety of platforms. The company's Trust Engine software is used to manage users' credentials, and its Flagstone product encrypts data on individual PCs. In addition, Security First has developed biometric technology for user authentication.
