You don't have to be an earth scientist to know that Basic Earth Science Systems gets down to the basics -- oil and gas. It is involved in exploration, production, operation, and development activities, exploiting crude oil and natural gas assets in Colorado's Denver-Julesburg Basin, the Williston Basin of Montana, North Dakota, and Saskatchewan, and South Texas and the Gulf Coast. The company operates some 93 gross wells and has proved developed reserves of 995,000 barrels of oil and 1.1 billion cu. ft. of gas. Basic Earth Science Systems' president and CEO Ray Singleton controls 26% of the company.
