Nachi-Fujikoshi keeps Japan's industry rolling right along. A leading maker of ball bearings, the company produces cylindrical bearings, deep-groove bearings, and taper bearings. Although bearings account for around one-third of its sales, Nachi-Fujikoshi also manufactures cutting tools, hydraulic equipment, industrial furnaces, precision machining equipment, coating equipment, and special steels. Robots are manufactured by the company for arc welding, painting, handling, and automation uses. Founded in 1928, Nachi-Fujikoshi owns and operates more than 50 affiliated companies. About one-half of the company's sales stems from Asia and the Middle East.
