Intra-European routes aren't virgin territory for this company. Virgin Express Holdings offers low-fare, no-frills service in Europe with a fleet of about 15 Boeing 737s. From its Brussels hub the carrier flies to nearly 20 destinations around western Europe. In 2005 Virgin Express merged with Delta Air Transport (operating as SN Brussels Airlines), a regional carrier formerly owned by failed Belgian airline Sabena. The merger created a holding entity, SN Airholding, which owns 100% of both Virgin Express and SN Brussels Airlines.
