Sonus-USA is turning up the volume in the hearing care industry. A distributor of audiological products and services, Sonus-USA operates through a network of about 1,600 company-owned and affiliated centers located in the US and Canada. The clinics offer such services as testing, evaluation, and rehabilitation. The clinics also sell and service private-label and branded hearing aids, as well as batteries, ear plugs, and other types of hearing assistance devices. Sonus offers financing and warranty services, and its HearPO division provides hearing health benefit plans. Sonus was founded in 1993 and is a subsidiary of hearing aid distributor Amplifon USA.
