Europe and Asia are familiar territories for Lundin Petroleum. The oil and gas exploration and production company focuses on developing oil and gas assets in Cambodia, Congo, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Tunisia, the UK, and Vietnam. In 2009 Lundin Petroleum reported proved and probable reserves of 217.5 million barrels of oil equivalent, the bulk of which was in the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea. Oil accounts for more than 85% of the Lundin Petroleum's total reserves. The Lundin family owns 24% of the company. In 2010 Lundin Petroleum sold its Indonesian interests. It also announced plans to spin off its UK operations and assets as EnQuest.
