Quigley wants cold sufferers to put away their tissues and tonics and chew bubble gum instead. The firm contends its Cold-Eeze remedy (available in lozenge, tablet, and bubble gum form) lessens the length and severity of the common cold. It also has a naturally-derived prescription pharmaceutical subsidiary targeting diabetic neuropathy, radiation dermatitis, and other conditions. The company's Quigley Manufacturing makes Cold-Eeze lozenges, as well as hard and organic candy, and provides contract manufacturing for other firms. Founder and CEO Guy Quigley, who acquired the rights to Cold-Eeze in 1992, owns about a quarter of Quigley Corporation.
