Owners take advantage of the group's volume purchasing power, while also selling locally produced goods to preserve the image of a local concern. The company's hypermarkets offer automobile service centers, beauty shops, dining, jewelry, pharmacies, and travel services. Leclerc Voyages operates more than 150 branches. E. Leclerc is also a leading gasoline retailer in France. The co-op was established in 1949.
