The American Education Corporation (AEC) has edification aspirations for the nation's teens and their younger siblings. The educational software maker's primary offering is its A+nyWhere Learning System software line, which includes titles providing instruction in reading and writing, as well as math, science, history, geography, and language arts for K-12 students. AEC's system includes a learning management application that helps teachers monitor student performance. Some 10,000 schools have used the company's software, which AEC also sells to adult literacy centers, junior and community colleges, and correctional facilities.
