Ore Pharmaceuticals (formerly Gene Logic) doesn't make drugs; it helps drug makers make drugs, often with compounds that failed on the first go-round. The drug developer identifies and works to restart potentially useful drugs that stalled during earlier development. It has three compounds in development to address metabolic disorders, central nervous system diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease. Ore Pharmaceuticals has shifted its priorities over the years. Bioinformatics operations were once its main business, before it turned its focus first onto drug repositioning, and now onto development.
