IDG has a portfolio of more than 300,000 different products drawn from more than 30,000 vendors; it sells these goods to an active customer base of 13,000 companies, including BorgWarner, Danaher, Ford, and General Electric. IDG operates dozens of distribution locations in the US, as well as in China. Luther King Capital Management acquired IDG and took it private in 2008.
