The Berg Steel Pipe has stuck to its knitting, or in this case, its steel pipe manufacturing. The company makes longitudinal welded large-diameter steel pipe that is used primarily in the oil and gas industry. Ranging from two feet to more than five feet in diameter, the company's pipe is available in several different grades. Berg Steel Pipe operates a facility of its own in Florida as a well as a steel coatings plant operated by subsidiary eb Pipe Coating. It also operates a sales office in Houston that gives it access to its primary client base. The company, which was founded in 1980, is a subsidiary of the German tubular steel producer Europipe.
