The Ohio Lottery Commission operates and oversees a variety of games of chance that benefit education programs in the state. The commission offers a number of instant win games, as well as jackpot drawings and online games. Ohio also participates in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing. In addition to lottery games, the commission regulates charitable bingo licenses in Ohio. The Ohio Lottery Commission was formed in 1973 and has returned more than $16 billion for education programs.
