Filtronic knows wireless inside out. The company designs and manufactures an array of radio frequency (RF), micro- and millimeter wave, and subsystem components. Its lineup serves to process radio signals, the heart of wireless communications equipment. Point-to-point (PTP) radio products include transceivers, filers, outdoor and indoor units, and radio backhaul PTP links for fixed and mobile telecommunication networks. Filtronic supplies such customers as Alcatel-Lucent, Motorola, and Nokia. Other Filtronic products include components for military radar, sensing, and communications equipment; these components serve prime contractors for defense equipment, notably Thales and Selex.
