For many in Europe the communications landscape has an Orange glow. A subsidiary of France Telecom and the leading mobile provider in France, the wireless phone operator is one of Europe's top mobile companies with nearly 130 million subscribers. The Orange brand also encompasses France Telecom's Internet business which serves about 13 million broadband users. It also offers digital television and computer telephony services. In the UK, Orange is a top-three carrier along with O2 (UK) and Vodafone. Spain and Poland are also key countries for its wireless businesss and subsidiary Orange Communications serves customers in Switzerland. Outside of Europe, Orange is active in Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
