NAPLES, Fla.----Health Management Associates, Inc. today announced that on May 15, 2008 it priced its offering of $225 million aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior subordinated notes due 2028 to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended .
