Euronet Worldwide might soon have the whole world in its net -- thanks to its network of ATMs and other electronic financial services. Banks, card issuers, and other institutions pay the firm for managing transactions at more than 10,000 ATMs and some 400,000 point-of-sale terminals in 100 countries across Africa, Europe, India, and the Middle East. The company operates in three segments: its aforemented EFT (electronic funds transfer) services; epay, which provides prepaid mobile phone cards and other prepaid products and collection services; and money transfer, which performs global money transfer and bill pay services.
