When you want 3-D graphics in your hand, 3Dlabs has a product for you. 3Dlabs' three-dimensional graphics accelerator products are intended for the portable handheld device market. The company's Embedded Graphics and IP Cores division supplies graphics chips and flexible intellectual property cores for embedded applications. Customers include the BBC, Jaguar, Stargate Digital, and Trek Bicycle. 3Dlabs is a subsidiary of computer board maker Creative Technology. The company has shifted its product emphasis, introducing the DMS-02 media processor in late 2006 for applications in automotive infotainment systems, mobile handsets, navigation systems, portable media players, and videoconferencing equipment.
