The Swiss don't need to yodel across the Alps anymore thanks to Swisscom, the leading telecom provider in Switzerland. Swisscom offers fixed-line and mobile phone service, broadband data, and cable TV to individuals and businesses. It boasts 5.6 million mobile subscribers, 3.4 million access lines, 1.6 million broadband users, and 230,000 TV customers. Business customers account for about a third of sales. Swisscom also provides IT services to corporate customers, which accounts for about 15% of sales. Outside of Switzerland, the company's largest market is in Italy, where it is the majority owner of FastWeb. The Swiss government owns 57% of the company.
