Its holdings include music service and pay-TV operator Claxson Interactive (DMX Latin America, Playboy TV Latin America), Venezuelan TV network Venevisión, and baseball team Los Leones del Caracas. It also owns beer maker Cervecería Regional and travel agency Saeca, as well as rights to the Miss Venezuela beauty contest. The family-owned holding company traces its roots to a transportation business started in 1929 by Diego Cisneros.
