Neither ame, nor mizore, nor yuki will keep state-owned Japan Post Holdings and its Japan Post Service subsidiary from delivering more than 21 billion letters and packages a year. Another subsidiary, Japan Post Network, oversees more than 24,000 post offices. The company also offers savings accounts, through Japan Post Bank, hospitals and hotels, and life insurance, through Japan Post Insurance. However, in order to make its operating structure more efficient, Japan Post Holdings is required to sell Japan Post Insurance and Japan Post Bank by September 2017.
