Consorcio G Grupo Dina has done some retuning. To pay down debt, the company has sold all but 24% of US-based subsidiary Motor Coach Industries Inc. (MCII), a leading North American bus maker. Grupo Dina continues to sell buses, including European-style intercity coaches, and medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The company's trucks are sold under the Dina name, and its buses are sold under the names F11, F12, F14, and Suburbano. Grupo Dina distributes its products in Mexico, Central and South America, and the Middle East. The company was founded in 1951 and is part of the holdings of the Guadalajara, Mexico-based Gómez-Flores family.
