Mossimo aimed for the target and stayed in the game. The designer and licensor of upscale casuals no longer makes clothes but licenses its name to discount retailer Target, which owns the exclusive US rights to make and sell clothes and accessories with the Mossimo label. Mossimo's designs include knit and woven shirts, outerwear, denim products, dresses, pants, sweatshirts, bodywear, T-shirts, and shorts. Other licenses, such as Modern Amusement, include men's, women's, and children's apparel and footwear, cosmetics, and accessories (jewelry, watches, handbags, belts, neckwear, gloves). Mossimo was acquired by licensing and brand management company Iconix Brand Group in late 2006.
