This taco stand caters to the burger and fries crowd, as well as the burrito fans. Del Taco is the #2 quick-service Mexican chain in the US (behind YUM! Brand's Taco Bell division), with more than 500 locations in more than a dozen mostly western states. Its restaurants offer tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, along with such traditional fast-food fare as hamburgers, French fries, and shakes. Del Taco's menu also includes a variety of salads and breakfast burritos. Most of Del Taco's locations are company-owned. Founded in 1964, the company is part of Nashville, Tennessee-based Sagittarius Brands, which is also parent of the Captain D's quick-service seafood chain.
