Dierks Bentley's "Is there anybody out there who wants to have a cold beer?" echoes the offer of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev). The No. 1 beer maker in the world, by volume, produced 399 million hectoliters (more than 10.5 billion gallons) of beer in 2010. It widened its industry lead and brewing output considerably in 2008 with its $52 billion purchase of the US's Anheuser-Busch (A-B). Combined, AB InBev boasts a product list of 200-plus brands, including global best-sellers Budweiser, Stella Artois, and Beck's. The Belgian brewer holds a slew of regional beers, including Leffe and Hoegaarden, as well as local favorites, such as Michelob, Skol, and Brahma. AB InBev operates in some 20 countries worldwide.
