eGames is taking a G-rated (or should that be E-rated?) approach to PC entertainment. The company markets video games usually rated E (for everyone) that are easy to use and nonviolent. Its titles, which include Bowling Mania and MahJongg Master, typically sell for $20 or less and are marketed in North America under such brand names as eGames, Home Office Help, and RealAge. eGames sells its products at national retail chains (Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, K-Mart), office supply stores, and warehouse clubs (Office Max, Sam's Club); it also sells through wholesale distributor Atari, Take-Two Interactive, and various inventory liquidators. In addition, the company offers online games through its eGames.com Web site.
