Vertis (dba Vertis Communications) provides marketing services from conception through design, production, and distribution for thousands of clients, including grocery stores, retail chains, newspapers, and ad agencies. Vertis' services include market research, media planning, advertising production, digital production, and fulfillment services. It produces newspaper inserts such as color comics, TV magazines, and supplements and provides direct mail, package design, interactive marketing, and media planning services to clients in the US and the UK. Producing more than 30 billion advertising inserts per year, it operates from 100 locations worldwide. In late 2008, Vertis acquired rival ACG Holdings.
