Pernod Ricard, one of the world's largest producers of spirits, feathers its nest with the help of Wild Turkey bourbon, but its most popular global brand is the premium Scotch whisky, Chivas Regal. The company also sells libations ranging from anise drinks and liqueurs (Pernod, Ricard, Zoco) to clear spirits (Wyborova vodka, Havana Club Cuban rum, Beefeater and Seagram's gin). In addition, Pernod Ricard offers Jameson Irish whiskey, Martell cognac, and Jacob's Creek wine. In 2008 the company added the coveted Absolut vodka brand to its holdings when it acquired Sweden's V&S Group. A year later, it sold its Wild Turkey brand. The founding Ricard family owns 16% of the company.
