Skyline Multimedia Entertainment operates the NY SKYRIDE, a simulated "aerial tour'' of New York City, located on the second floor of one of the city's most popular tourist sites, the Empire State Building. The flight simulator ride includes a 12-minute bird's-eye view of landmarks and sites through the city's skyline, including a "ride" on the Coney Island Cyclone, a sweep over the Statue of Liberty, and an experience with New York City traffic in Times Square. The attraction is open all year, including holidays, and generates revenue from ticket sales and the sale of souvenirs and concessions. NY SKYRIDE began operations in 1994.
