Kyocera Solar turns daylight into more than night lights. A subsidiary of Kyocera International, the company makes, sells, and installs solar-powered electric systems to residential and commercial customers in the US. Its solar modules are also manufactured by Kyocera Corporation companies in China and the Czech Republic. Kyocera Solar has worked on projects for thousands of customers, including a 500 kW Gatorade distribution center and a 1,186 kW installation at the University of California, San Diego. Altogether, Kyocera produces solar panels totaling 650 MW each year.
