Its clinical laboratory products are immunoassay tests for conditions such as food allergies, diabetes, infectious diseases, and hyperthyroidism. Its point-of-care product portfolio, which includes products that produce rapid results, provides tests for prostate cancer, pregnancy, cat allergies, and drugs of abuse. Biomerica has manufacturing facilities in the US and in Mexico. It once owned a minority interest in Lancer Orthodontics, a maker of orthodontic products such as arch wires, lingual attachments, and buccal tubes, but it sold its stake in 2008.
