SANYO is on the go. SANYO North America, a subsidiary of Japanese electronics giant SANYO Electric, oversees more than 20 companies that make and sell a variety of consumer products including electronics (TVs, VCRs, DVD players, audio systems, MP3 players, wireless phones, and digital cameras) and home appliances (microwave ovens, vacuums, refrigerators, and freezers). It also makes products for industrial use, such as semiconductors and electronic components. Its Environmental Solutions unit advises companies and facilities on sustainability and energy efficiency. SANYO North America operates service companies that offer everything from service for SANYO products to logistics and customs brokerage services.
