One of the world's leading commercial printers, World Color Press (previously Quebecor World) prints books, catalogs, direct mail, directories, magazines, and retail inserts for retailers and other businesses. World Color Press (WCP) has about 90 print printing plants and related facilities in the US, Canada, and Latin America. Its customers have included publishers such as Hearst, Primedia, and Time, along with retailers such as Kohl's, Sears, RONA, and Wal-Mart. Quebecor World filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and following a streamlining and restructuring of its operations emerged in July 2009 with a new name. WCP returned to the Toronto Stock Exchange in August.
