Whether you need an early morning shave or a late night TV fix, Philips Electronics North America has got the goods. The US arm of Dutch company Royal Philips Electronics, the company oversees Philips operations in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Its divisions include: Consumer Lifestyle, formed by the 2008 combination of the company's Consumer Electronics (TVs, CD and DVD players, PC peripherals) and Domestic Appliances & Personal Care (Norelco shavers, Sonicare electric toothbrushes) divisions; Lighting (lighting products); and Philips Healthcare (X-ray and ultrasound equipment). To enhance brand recognition, Philips paid $180 million to have an Atlanta sports arena named after the company.
